let 1 soldier consumes 1 unit food in 1 day
then 500 soldier will consume food unit in 30 days = 500×30
=15000
food unit consumed by 500 soldiers in 6 days= 500×6=
=3000
food unit left = 15000-3000
=12000 units for 500 -x soldiers for 1 day
= for 32 days
=12000=500-x×32
=12000/32=500-x
=375-500=-x
