50cc of hydrogen collected over mercury the level of which stands 20cm above the level of Hg in the trough. If the atmospheric pressure be 760mm, calculate the volume it will occupy when the level of mercury inside & outside the tube is made same? Please tell with explanation.

Use p1=560mmHg, v1=50cc

p2=760mmHg, then v2=p1v1/p2=36.84cc
