The Extrusion of “second polar body” from egg nucleus which occurs after the completion of entry of sperm but before the completion of fertilization.

EXPLANATION:

When the sperm enters into the ovum, it causes “meiotic division” of secondary oocyte. The entry of the sperm causes the metaphase promoting factor to breakdown and the sperm then enters into fertilization.

Extrusion of second polar body is a result of oocyte activation which is affected by the fertilization process.
