Let the number of potatoes be x

52.75kg=₹844
x kg=₹400

Then-

52.75/844=x/400
52.75*400=x*844
5275*400/100=x*844
5275*4=x*844
5275*4/844=x
5275/211=x
x=25kg

So, 25kg of potatoes can be bought in ₹400.
