Then, marks scored by Joseph = x - 8

And. marks scored by Kumar = x + 12

Total marks scored by Amit, Joseph and kumar = 205

Now, according to the question.

⇒ x + x - 8 + x + 12 = 205

⇒ 3x + 4 = 205

⇒ 3x = 205 - 4

⇒ 3x = 201

⇒ x = 201/3

⇒ x = 67

So, Amit scored 67 marks.

Marks scored by Joseph = 67 - 8

= 59 marks
