Solution:

P = 5200

A = 2P = 2 * 5200 = 10400

R = 6 %

T = ?

SI = A - P = 10400 - 5200 = 5200

Assuming Simple interest

SI = P * R * T /100

=> 5200 = 5200 * 6 * T /100

=> T = 100/6

=> T = 50/3

=> T = 16.67 years
