54, a wire of resistance 20 is bent to form a closed square. What is the resistance across a diagonal of the square?

Given :

R = 50 ohm                  

Let the length of the wire be l

if it is bent to form square then the length will become l/4 for each side . Across upper side of the diagnol the resistance will become R/2 (r=ρl/a: snd the length changed to l/2) similarly for lower side it will be R/2 since they form parallel combination across the diagnol the net resistance equal to R/4
