Time taken by boat B = ?

Let the constant be n.

» 126/ (5n + 8) = 4.5

» 1260 = 225n + 360

» n = 900/225

» n = 4

Now, for B

» Time = 126 / (3n + 8)

= 126 / (20)

= 6.3 hr
