Option D- Quality Planning is not an appraisal in SQA. Quality planning can be defined as a document, or many documents, that can together specify a standard quality, standard practices, standard resources, standard specifications, and the standard order of activities that is relevant to a specific product, specific service, a specific project, or any specific contract.

1. The quality planning can itself include a few things for its maintenance-

The objective for the plan.

The process that will follow the plan.

The roles and responsibilities for the plan.

An applied standard to be used for the plan.

The metrics to measure the standard quality.

2. Quality planning is essential because neglecting a proper standard quality makes it harder to result in a successful project.

3. Before making any execution of the project, the project head manager sets the proper standards to meet in order to get qualify for the project as an ultimate success.
