B) 30,20

Here is complete solution:

Let their present ages be 6x & 4x

5 years ago, their ages were (6x-5) and (4x-5)

Now it is said that five years ago their ages were in the ratio 5:3.

So that means (6x-5) and (4x-5) must be in the ratio 5:3

Hence, (6x-5)/(4x-5) = 5/3

On solving we get x=5

So their present ages are 6x & 4x i.e., 6*5=30 and 4*5=20

Answer: 30, 20
