Qutub Minar, standing at Delhi, was built or constructed or erected by Iltumish. Thee Most had now become one of the famous architectures of the world and is famous for its great height and design. It's construction was started by Qutub-ud-din Aibak in 1199 AD, in dedication to the Sufi saint Qutub-ud-din Bakhtiyar Kaki. The structure was completed in the reign of Iltumish in 1230 AD. Some of the special and unique features of this Minar are discussed below:
1. It has 5 floors or storeys tapering from bottom moving upwards.
2. Various cravings from the Holy book of Quran are found in the walls.
