5m -3n = 19 ---------------eq (i)

m - 6n = -7 ---------------eq (ii)

From eq(ii)

m -6n = -7

m = -7 +6n ---------------eq (iii)

Putting value of m from eq(iii) in eq(i)

5 (-7 +6n) -3n = 19

-35 + 30n -3n = 19

27n = 19 +35

27n = 54

n = 54/27

n = 2

Putting value of n in eq(iii)

m = -7 +6 × 2

m = -7 +12

m = 5

....hope it's helpful :)

Answer:

m=5

n=2

Step-by-step explanation:

5m-3n=19______eq.(i)

m-6n= -7_______eq.(ii)

multiplying eq. (i) by 2 we get,

10m-6n=38______eq.(iii)

now, substracting eq. (ii) and eq. (iii) we get,

(m-6n) - (10m-6n)= -7-38

m-6n-10m+6n= -45

-9m= -45

m= 45/9

m=5

now, putting the value of m in eq. (ii) we have

5-6n= -7

-6n= -7-5

-6n= -12

n=12/6

n=2
