Step-by-step explanation:

5m+7/2 = 3m/2 - 14

(10m+7)/2 = (3m-28)/2

7m = -35

m = -5

rahul6xyz: m=-5
aditya0603: right
ItzAngel: Can I explain the sum in words to me plzz???
ItzAngel: I meant can you explain...
rahul6xyz: ok
ItzAngel: then explain.....
rahul6xyz: First we will take like terms i. e. 5m-3m/2=-7/2-14/1 . secondly we will start solving that equation 10 m/2-3m/2=-7/2-28/2 . in third step 7m/2=-35/2 . in fourth step 2 will cancel 2 and 7 cancel - 35 by -5, so ans will be m= - 5
ItzAngel: ohhh thank you very much, rahul!
ItzAngel: I get it
rahul6xyz: welcome!

Answer:

m = -5

Step-by-step explanation:

5m +7/2 = 3/2m - 14

[ separating the m component and constant on different sides of = ]

=5m-3/2 m = -14 -7/2

[ by fraction subtraction method ( Lcm of denominator ÷ the denominator × the numerator)]

=(10m-3m)/2 = (-28-7)/2

[on subtracting]

=10m -3m = -28 -7

7 m = -35

[dividing -35 by 7 ( coefficient of m)]

m = -35/7

= -5 ( Answer)
