to equate the equations multiply 5p+q=2 by 3

then it becomes 15p+3q=6
then the elements of q get equal.....

now using elimination method...
adding 2 equations
15p+3q+(6p-3q)=6+1
21p=7
p=7/21
p=1/3

put p value in 5p+q=2
5/3+q=2
q=1/3

5p+q=2―――――――(1)
6p-3q=1――――――-(2)

subtractive eq.(2) from (1)×3

15p+3q=6
6p-3q=1
_________
9p. =5
p=5/9

put the p in eq.(2)

6p-q=1
6×5/9-q=1
30/9-q=1
30/9-1=q
(30-9)/9=q
21/9=q
q=7/3

put the value of q in eq.(1)

5p+q=2
5p+7/3=2
5p=2-7/3
5p=(6-7)/3
p=-1/3×1/5
p=-1/15
