events leading to the February revolution in petrograd are:

1. 22nd February 1917 = lockout of a factory on the right bank of the Neva river.
The next day, the workers of 50 factories went on the strike in sympathy.

2. 24th 
 February 1917 = demonstrators came back on the streets and were disposed of by imposing the curfew.

3. 25th February 1917 = the government suspended the duma.

4. 26th February 1917 = demonstrators returned in force to the streets 

5. 27th February 1917 = workers ransacked the Police Headquarters.

→ On 22nd february , a lock out took place at a factory on the right bank . The next day workers in fifty factories called a strike in sympathy.

→ At this stage , no political party was actively organising the movement.

→but they come back on the 24th and 25th.

→ On sunday , 25th february , the government supended the duma . Politicians spoke out against the measure .

→ Demonstrators returned in force to the streets of the left bank on the 26th . On the 27th , the police headquarters were ransacked.
