substitute the value of g(2) into g(t).
so, 4(2)2 -5(2) +5 = 16-10+5 = 11
so g(2) = 11.
Now, g(t) - g(2) =
4t2 -5t +5 -11
4t2 -5t -6 = 0
Now, I am not sure whether or not you need to go further.
If you are to go further, factor the trinomial to end up with t = -3/4 and t = 2.
Then, check both answers by substituting -3/4 and 2 back in the original equation. I have graphed the equation, and sure enough, the parabola crosses the x axis at -3/4 and 2.
I hope that helps.
