our equation= x - 1/2 ×4 = 5

solution:--
==>x-1/2×4 =5
==> x-1/2 = 5/4
==> x/1-1/2 = 5/4
==>2x-1/2=5/4
==>(2x-1)4 = 5×2
==> 8x -4 = 10
==> 8x = 10+4
==> x = 14/8
==> x = 7/4
