Given Equation:-

  • 5x+\dfrac{1}{3x} =4 ...[I]

Point of the Question.

The question's point is multiplying \dfrac{3}{5} on both sides. So let's do it!

Solution.

Multiply \dfrac{3}{5} to the equation [I]

\therefore 3x+\dfrac{1}{5x} =\dfrac{12}{5} ...[II]

Square both sides of [II]

(3x+\dfrac{1}{5x} )^2=(\dfrac{12}{5} )^2

\rightarrow 9x^2+2\times \dfrac{3x}{5x} +\dfrac{1}{25x^2} =\dfrac{144}{25}

\rightarrow 9x^2+\dfrac{6}{5} +\dfrac{1}{25x^2} =\dfrac{144}{25}

\rightarrow 9x^2+\dfrac{1}{25x^2} =\dfrac{144-30}{25}

\therefore 9x^2+\dfrac{1}{25x^2} =\boxed{\dfrac{114}{25}}

Hope you understood.
