Answer:

(a) 5x−11=2x+7

⇒3x=18

⇒x=318

⇒x=6

(B) 3(x−8)−2(x−5)=2−5x

⇒3x−24−2x+10=2−5x

⇒x−14=2−5x

⇒6x=16

x=616

⇒x=38

(C) 2(3x+1)−7=2(6x−7)

⇒6x+2−7=12x−14

⇒−5+14=12x−6x

⇒6x=9

⇒x=69

⇒x=23
