The Answer Is As Follows

5x - 2(2x - 7) = 2(3x - 1) + \frac{7}{2} \\ 5x - 4x + 14 = 6x - 2 + \frac{7}{2} \\ x + 14 = 6x + \frac{7}{2} - 2 \\ x + 14 = 6x + \frac{7 - 4}{2} \\ x + 14 = 6x + \frac{3}{2} \\ 6x - x = 14 - \frac{3}{2} \\ 5x = \frac{28 - 3}{2} \\ x = \frac{25}{2 \times 5} \\ x = \frac{5}{2} \\ x = 2.5
