= 5x - 4x + 14 = 6x - 2 + 7/2

= x +14 =( 12x - 4 +7)/2

taking 2 to the other side

=2(x+14) = 12x +3

= 2x + 28 = 12x + 3

= 28-3 = 12x-2x

= 25 = 10x

x = 25/10 or 2.5
