Given Equation :-

5x+2 - 3(x+2) = -2(x+1) + 5(x-2).

Solution :-

⇒ 5x + 2 - 3x - 6 = -2x - 2 + 5x - 10.

⇒ 5x - 3x + 2 - 6 = 5x - 2x - 10 - 2.

⇒ 2x - 4 = 3x - 12.

⇒ 2x - 3x = -12 + 4.

⇒ -x = -8.

⇒ x = 8.

Verification :-

5(8) + 2 - 3(8 + 2) = -2(8 + 1) + 5(8 - 2).

⇒ 40 + 2 - 3(10) = -2(9) + 5(6).

⇒ 42 - 30 = -18 + 30.

⇒ 12 = 12.

LHS = RHS.

Hence, Verified.
