Given that :

 \frac{5x + 2}{x - 3}  =  \frac{9}{4}

To find :

The value of x

According to the question :

 \frac{5x + 2}{x - 3}  =  \frac{9}{4}  \\  \\  =  > 4(5x + 2) = 9(x - 3) \\  \\  =  > 20x + 8 = 9x - 27 \\  \\  =  > 20x - 9x =  -27 - 8 \\  \\  =  >  11x =  - 35 \\  \\  =  > x =  \frac{ - 35}{11}

So, the value of x will be -35/11
