on putting the value in second equation

$\frac{-6+24y}{10} - 2y = -1$

$\frac{-6+24y-20y}{10} = -1$

$\frac{-6+4y}{10} = -1$

$-6+4y=-10$

$4y=16$

$y= \frac{16}{4}$

$y= 4$

so putting the value of 'y' in 【i】

$x= \frac{-1+4(4)}{10}$

$x= \frac{15}{10}$

$x = 1.5$
