5x-2y= - \frac{1}{2}

2(5x-2y) = -1

10x-4y= -1

10x = -1+4y

x= \frac{-1+4y}{10} 【i】

on putting the value in second equation

6× \frac{-1+4y}{10} - 2y = -1

\frac{-6+24y}{10} - 2y = -1

\frac{-6+24y-20y}{10} = -1

\frac{-6+4y}{10} = -1

-6+4y=-10

4y=16

y= \frac{16}{4}

y= 4

so putting the value of 'y' in 【i】

x= \frac{-1+4(4)}{10}

x= \frac{15}{10}

x = 1.5
