Consider the equations as:-

5x-2y=1->(i)\\2x-y=0->(ii)\\

Now, eqn (ii) x 2, we get

4x-2y=0->(iii)\\

solving eqns. (I) and (iii) by elemination method(i.e eqn (i) - eqn (iii))

5x-2y = 1\\-4x+2y=0\\-------\\x = 1

putting, value of x as 1 in eqn (ii), we get

y=2

Hence, you get x as 1  and y as 2.
