\textbf{ Hello Mate! }

5x - 2y = 19

x = ( 19 + 2y ) / 5

3x + y = 18

3( 19 + 2y ) / 5 + y = 18

57 / 5 + 6y / 5 + 5y / 5 = 18

11y / 5 = 18 - 57 / 5

11y / 5 = ( 90 - 57 ) / 5

y = 33 / 5 × 5 / 11

y = 3

x = ( 19 + 2y ) / 5

= [ 19 + 2(3) ] / 5

= 25 / 5 or 5

\boxed{ x = 5 \: and \: y = 3 }

Have great day Ahead!
