Answer:

5x+2y=-3.....eq1

x+5y=4.......eq2

now multiply eq2nd by 5

(x+5y=4)5

5x+25y=20......eq3rd

now subtract eq1st by eq3rd

5x+25y=20

5x+2y=-3

- - +

________

23y=23

y=23/23

y=1.....eq 4th

now put eq 4th in eq 2

x+5y=4

x+5(1)=4

x+5=4

x=4-5

x=-1
