5x+2y=-3....1

x+5y = 4......2

multiply as 1 by 5

5x + 25y =20....3

subtract 1 and 3

5x + 25y = 20

5x + 2y = -3

- - +

___________

23y=23

y=1

put y = 1 in eq 2

x + 5y = 4

x + 5 = 4

× = -1

(x,y) = (-1,1)
