Given:-

 \tt  \ \blue{\: 5x = 3x + 4 }

To find:-

  • x

To show:-

  • LHS=RHS

Solution:-

 \tt \: 5x = 3x + 4 \\  \\ \tt  \rightarrow5x  - 3x = 4\\  \\ \tt  \rightarrow2x = 4\\  \\ \tt  \rightarrow \: x=  \dfrac{ 4}{2} \\  \\ \tt  \rightarrow \: x = 2

Showing

LHS=

 \tt \: 5x = 5(2) = 10

RHS=

 \tt \: 3x + 4 = 3(2) + 4 = 6 + 4 = 10

So, LHS=RHS proved.
