5x+3y=-11........eq.1

2x+4y=-10.........eq.2

By elimination method....

Let eq. 1 is multiply by 2 and eq. 2nd is multiply by 5.

Now,

2{5x+3y=-11}
5{2x+4y=-10}

By subtracting....

10x+6y=-22
10x+20y=-50
- - +
…..........................
-14y=28

y=28/-14=-2

Now , by putting the value of y in eq. 1

5x+3y=-11

5x+3(-2)=-11

5x-6=-11

5x=-11+6

5x=-5

x=-5/5=-1. Ans

Hope it helps you....✌✌
