5x+3y=12;2x-3y=12 by substitution method

Answer:

5x+3y=12

5x=12-3y

x=12-3y/5

2x-3y=12

2(12-3y/5)-3y=12

24-6y-15y=60

-21y=36

y=-36/21

=-12/7

∴ x=22/7

y=-12/7
