-3 x=3
x=-1
put the value of X in eq 1
-5 + 3y=9
3y =9+5

Hii friend,

5X+3Y = 9.....(1)

2X+3Y = 12......(2)

Using substitution method,

From equation (1) we get,

5X +3Y = 9

5X = 9-3Y

X = 9-3Y/5......(3)

Putting the value of X in equation (2)

2X +3Y = 12

2 × (9-3Y/5) +3Y = 12

18-6Y/5 +3Y = 12

18-6Y +15Y/5 = 12

18-6Y +15Y = 12 × 5

9Y +18 = 60

9Y = 60-18

9Y = 42

Y = 42/9

Y = 14/3

Putting the value of Y in equation (3)

X = 9-3Y/5

X = 9-3×14/3/5

X = 9-14/5= -5/5

X = -1

Hence,

X = -1 and Y = 14/3

HOPE IT WILL HELP YOU...... :-)
