Hey there!

 \frac{5x - 4}{6} = \frac{(4x + 1) - (3x + 10)}{2}

 \frac{5x - 4}{6} = \frac{4x + 1 - 3x - 10}{2}

 \frac{5x - 4}{6} = \frac{x - 9}{2}

2(5x - 4) = 6(x - 9)

10x - 8 = 6x - 54

10x - 6x = 54 + 8

4x = - 54 + 8

4x = - 46

x = \frac{ - 23}{2}

Hope this helps!
