5x+4y=3

=> 5x = 3-4y

=> x = (3-4y) / 5 --------(1)

Case 2 :

2x-3+8=0

=> 2x+5=0

=> 2x = (-5)

=> x = (-5) / 2 ----------(2)

From (1) and (2),

3-4y / 5 = -5 / 2

=> -25 = (3-4y)2

=> -25 = 6 - 8y

=> -8y = -25-6

=> -8y = - 31

=> 8y = 31

=> y = 31/8

Now , From (1) ,

x = (3-4y) / 5

=> 5x = 3 - 4 × 31/8

=> 5x = 3 - 31/2

=> 5x = -25 / 2

=> x = -25/2 × 1/5

=> x = -5/2
