10x = 100 ÷ 10 ( transposing ×10 from LHS to RHS makes ×10 to ÷10 )

We can check it by :

keeping 10 in the place of x .

( 5 × 10 ) + ( 5 × 10 )

50 + 50 = 100

LHS = RHS

Hence the correct value of x is 10 , which can be seen as LHS is equal to RHS .

Therefore , the value of x is 10 .
