2x-5y = 16..........2

Multiplying 1 by 2 and 2 by 5.

10x+12y = 6......... 3

10x-25y = 80.........4

Subtracting 3 from 4

37y = 82

Y = 82/37

Put value of y in 1 and we get the value of x.
