QUESTION:

5x + 7 \div 2 = 3 \div 2x + 14

ANSWER:

5x - 3  \div 2x =  - 7 \div 2 + 14

10x - 3x \div 2 =  - 7 + 28 \div 2

7x \div 2 = 21 \div   2

7x \times 2 = 21 \times 2 \: by \: cross \: multiplication

x = 21 \times 2 + \div 7 \times 2

x = 3
