\huge\bigstar\underline\purple{Solution:-}

\huge\blue{Given:-}

5x + y = 26 .......( i)

x + 5y = 10 ....... ( ii )

Now, From eq ( i ) we can write

  • ↪️ 5x + y = 26

  • ↪️️ 5 x = 26 - y

  • ↪️ x = 26 - y / 5 ...... ( iii )

Substituting the value of " X " in eq ( ii ) , we get -

= >> x + 5y = 10

= >> ( 26 - y /5 ) + 5y = 10

= >> 26 - y + 25y /5 = 10

= >> 26 - 26y = 50

= >> -26y = 50 - 26

= >> -26 y = 24

= >> y = -12/13

. ° . \bf{Y = -12 /13}

Putting the value of y in eq ( i) , we get

5x + y = 26

  • ↪️ 5x + ( -12/13) = 26
  • ↪️ 5x = 26 + 12/13
  • ↪️ 5x = 338 + 12 / 13
  • ↪️ 5x = 350 / 13
  • ↪️ x = 350/13/5
  • ↪️x = 70 / 13

. °. \bf{X = 70/13}
