Step-by-step explanation:

5x-y:-x+2y

5x+x-y-2y = 0

6x-3y = 0

dividing both sides by 3

2x-y=0............................1

-3x+5y=4x-3

-3x-4x+5y=-3

-7x+5y=-3

7x-5y=3............................2

compare equation with a1x+b1y=c1

compare equation with a2x+b2y=c2

a1=2 ;b1=-1 ;c1=0

a2=7 ;b2=-5 ;c2=3

D=2×(-5)-(-1)×7

=-10+7

= -3

Dx=0×(-5)-(-1)×3

=0+3

=3

Dy=2×3-7×0

=6-0

=6

by using Cramer's rule,

x=Dx/D

x=3/-3

x=-1

y=Dy/D

y=6/-3

y=-2
