the question you have typed is wrong.
p(x) = 5x²-7x+1

alpha+beta = 7/5

alpha. beta = 1/5

1/alpha+1/beta => alpha+beta/alpha.beta

=> putting values

=> 7/5/1/5 => 7 .

How it helps you!

Answer:

-234.68

Step-by-step explanation:

5x² - 7x +1

by using quadratic formula,

-b±√b²-4ac ÷ 2a,

⇒ 7±√ 49-4(5)(1)  ÷ 2(5)

⇒ 7±√ 29 ÷ 10             (√29 = 5.38)

⇒ 7±5.38 ÷ 10

⇒ 7+5.38 ÷ 10

⇒ 1.238  or \frac{1238}{1000} = alpha

⇒7-5.38 ÷ 10

⇒ 0.162 or \frac{162}{1000} =beta

⇒ 1/alpha³ - 1/beta³

⇒ 1÷(1238/1000)³ - 1÷ (162/1000)³

⇒ (1000/1238)³ - (1000/162)³

⇒1000000000/1897413272 - 1000000000-4251528

⇒0.52 - 235.20

⇒ -234.68
