firstly divide the equation by 5 so that coefficient of xsquare become 1.
on dividing equation becomes..
x^2-7/5x-6/5=0
now it rewrite as
x^2-7/5x=6/5
now it is rule that we have to take square of half of coefficient and add it to RHS AND LHS.
x^2-7/5x+(7/10)^2=6/5+(7/10)^2
(x-7/10)^2=49/100+6/5
(x-7/10)^2=169/100
x-7/10=±13/10
on taking positive x=13+7/10=2
on taking negativex=7/10-13/10=-3/5
hence , x=2
x=-3/5
