Answer:

Given,

5y (12x +(- 72x)) + y(x - 6)

To Find :-

Simplify it.

Solution :-

5y (12x +(- 72x)) + y(x - 6)

5y(12x - 72x) + y(x - 6)

5y(-60x) + y(x - 6)

\sf 5y\times (-60x) + y\times(x - 6)

\sf (5\times y\times -60\times x) +( (y\times x)- (y\times 6))

\sf (5\times -60\times y\times x) +(xy - 6y)

\sf (-300\times xy) + (xy - 6y)

= -300xy + xy - 6y

= xy(-300 + 1) - 6y

= xy(-299) - 6y

= -299xy - 6y

= -y(299 + 6)

Algebraic Formulas :-

1) (x + a)(x + b) = \sf x^{2} + (a+b)x + ab

2) (x - a)(x - b) = \sf x^{2} - (a + b)x + ab
