= 5y² + 12y - 9 = 0

= 5y² + 15y - 3y - 9 = 0

= 5y ( y + 3) -3( y + 3) = 0

= (y + 3) (5y - 3) = 0

  • Now , there will be two solutions of the given equation.

= y = - 3

OR

= y = \dfrac{3}{5}
