Let the age of Amit be x and Arman be y.

$(x - 5) = 3(y - 5) \\ x - 5 = 3y - 15 \\ x - 3y = - 15 + 5 \\ x - 3y = - 10.......(1)$
After ten year..
Means..
According to the question...

$x + 10 = 2(y + 10) \\ x + 10 = 2y + 20 \\ x - 2y = 10.......(2)$
From equation 1 we get,
$x - 3y = - 10 \\ x = - 10 + 3y.......(3)$
Putting value of x in equation 2,we get
$x - 2y = 10 \\ ( - 103y) - 2y = 10 \\ y - 10 = 10 \\ y = 20years$
Putting value of y in equation 3
$x = - 10 + 3y \\ x = - 10 + 3 \times 20 \\ x = - 10 + 60 \\ x = 50$
Hence,
Age of Amit=50 years

Age of Arman=20 years..
