Given :  \sf{ {\dfrac{- 5z^2}{\sqrt{5} z}} }

  • On further solving, we get -

\longrightarrow\sf{ {\dfrac{ - ( \sqrt{5} \times \sqrt{5} ) z^2}{\sqrt{5} z}} }

  • Expanding it.

\longrightarrow\sf{ {\dfrac{ - \sqrt{5} \times \sqrt{5} \times z \times z}{\sqrt{5} \times z}} }

\longrightarrow\sf{- \sqrt{5} \times z}

\longrightarrow - √5z

Question:-

\sf \dfrac{-5z²}{\sqrt{5z}}

Answer:-

\sf -\sqrt{5z}

Solution:-

\bf \dfrac{-5z²}{\sqrt{5z}}

↗By rationalsing the denominator, we get.

\sf \dfrac{-5z²}{\sqrt{5z}} \times \dfrac{\sqrt{5z}}{\sqrt{5z}}

\sf \dfrac{-5\sqrt{5z^{2}}}{5z^{2}}

✒Answer:-  -\sqrt{5z}

Some Additional:-

➡What is rationalization?

  • Rationalisation means expressing and geeting rid of surds on the bottom (denominator of the fraction).

➡How to do it?

  • Multiply numerator and denominator by a radiacle that will get the radiacle to the denominator .
  • Make sure all radiacle are simplified.
