With the standard notation, if n is a positive integer, then
0 C+ C+C+...+C = 2"
(ii) (a) Co + C++---+C = 2-1 if n is even
(b) Co+C+C+...+ C-1 = 21- if n is odd
(iii) (a) C+ C+Cs+...+C-1 = 2*- if n is even
(b) C+Cy+C++C = 2*- if n is odd​
