Answer:

given that sina=5/13

let us find other trigonometric ratios

we know that in a right angle triangle, hypotenuse is equals to the sum of the squares of other two sides

i. e a²+b²=c²

let a = opposite side,

b = adjacent side,

c=hypotenuse.

sina = 5/13

now we find the other side

i. e adjacent side

we know that

a²+b²=c²

i. e 5²+b²=13²

b²=13²- 5²

b²=169-25

b²=144

b=√144

b=12

other trigonometric ratios are:

cosa=12/13

tana=5/12

coseca=13/5

seca=13/12

cota=12/5

we have to show that tana+seca=1.5

I here tana=5/12,seca=13/12

=>5/12+13/12=1.5

=>18 /12 =1.5

=>3/2 =1.5

=> 1.5=1.5

hence proved//
