Actually we talk while eating , our larynx contains glottis which is covered or lid by the epiglottis which prevent entry of food into the wind pipe .

when we talk while eating glottis became unlid by the epiglottis and food may enter into the wind pipe which interrupt in breathing and cause cough so the food which get stuck into the wind pipe get remove .
