Number of trees ofmango=x

Number of trees of chikoos=y

X/y= 2/3

After five more trees,

Number of trees of mangoes=x+5

Number of trees of chikoos=y+5

X+5/y+5= 5/7.......1 (equation)

X/y=2/3, x= 2/3y

From eq(1), put value of x

2/3y+5/y+5 = 5/7

2y+15/3y+15= 5/7

After cross multiplying,

14y+105= 15y+75

Y= 105-75= 30

X= 2/3y= 2/3×30= 20
