I'm not sure whether you have mentioned -6/9 and -2/3 or 6/9 and 2/3.

I'm not sure whether you have mentioned -6/9 and -2/3 or 6/9 and 2/3.But I use -ve numbers here because both +ve and -ve numbers have same answer.

-6/9 and -2/3 are represented on the same line because when you simplify -6/3 , you will get -2/3.

Mathematically we can say that the give fractions are equivalent fractions.

Equivalent fractions are the fractions that have different numerator and denominator but are equal to the same value. For example, 2/4 and 3/6 both are equal to ½. Hence they are equivalent in nature. These fractions represent the same proportion of the whole.

Hope this helps you ☺️
